Deltona Youth Soccer Club is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 21st Annual D. C. Cup Classic. The tournament is for BOYS and GIRLS teams from U-7 through U-18 inclusive. Age Divisions

D.C. Cup is intended for Recreational Teams U-7 to U-18. Teams that carry a Competitive code, will be allowed to enter the D.C. Cup under a separate division if there are enough like teams to form equal groups. THEY WILL NOT BE COMBINED WITH THE RECREATIONAL DIVISION. Any TEAM that participated in Region or State Cup will not be eligible to participate in D.C. Cup.

Team Information

  • U-16 - U-18 maximum of 22 players on a roster (only 18 may be dressed and on the bench)
  • U-13 - U-15 maximum of 18 players on a roster
  • U-11 - U-12 maximum of 14 players on a roster
  • U-9 - U-10 maximum of 12 players on a roster
  • U-7 - U-8 maximum of 8 players on a roster

Players and Coaches must have current verified FYSA computer generated passes. All must be signed, pictured, and laminated. All must match the FYSA official roster. Event rosters will be accepted. Players must be primary to the team. ABSOLUTELY NO GUEST OR DUALED (SECONDARY) PLAYERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO PLAY.

Tournament Format

Tournament rules will follow FYSA and USYSA rules of play for all age groups. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. ANY TEAM WHICH DOES NOT SHOW FOR A SCHEDULED MATCH WILL BE FINED $50.00 PER GAME.

Application Procedure

Applications for DC Cup are to be completed by your club representative (Linda Loperena) online at www.FYSA.com in the secure site. The application can then be printed out and mailed with the entry fee to Suzy Reno. The APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1, 2009. The tournament registration fee is $225.00. Late applications will only be accepted to complete a group. This is an invitational tournament. Applying does not guarantee acceptance. Any team not accepted will be contacted via e-mail and will receive a refund. Any team that withdraws after May 1st, 2009 will not be eligible for a refund. Applications must be accompanied by the entry fee for acceptance.

Coache's Meeting

A MANDATORY coaches meeting and check in will be held on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009. Time and place will be determined at a later date and will be posted on the GCF website. Each team MUST have a representative at this meeting. There will be NO check in after Wed. night. Ensure that you bring your respective coaches and player’s passes. Rosters for those that played in league play will be provided by FYSA. If your team played in-house, your registrar will need to provide you with an event roster to present with your player passes at check in. Coaches must be listed on all rosters.
